A beauty dish is unique in that it creates a hard light that has soft edges. It does not have a “hot spot” in the middle of it like most reflectors, and can be used to make portraits very compelling. This dish features a new, patented easy-opening mechanism. Eight sided with strong yet flexible fiberglass ribs. Only 9 inches deep when assembled. Interior is white vinyl. Central deflector disk does not have to be removed when the beauty dish is collapsed. Folded length is 17 inches. Accepts standard 152mm/6″ speed ring inserts (optional) making it compatible with a wide variety of strobe makes. Comes with a flip over front diffusion panel and carrying sack.
